Editorial Policy

LeelinePackage serves as a bridge between manufacturers and merchants. To maintain the integrity of this bridge, we operate under a strict code of editorial independence designed for the logistics sector.

1. Logistics-Specific Financial Disclosures All contributors, staff writers, and editors must disclose any financial interests that could bias their reporting. This includes:

  • Service Ownership: Personal stakes in 3PL warehouses, freight forwarding agencies, or customs brokerage firms.
  • Software Interests: Equity or “early-adopter” incentives from Inventory Management Systems (IMS) or Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
  • Affiliate Transparency: If a link to a sourcing tool or shipping software generates a commission, it must be disclosed at the top of the article. We never allow commission rates to dictate a product’s rank in our “Best of” lists.

2. Review Samples & Logistics Beta Access Our team often receives “Beta Access” to new logistics platforms or shipping software.

  • Software Reviews: We accept temporary licenses to test UI/UX and API integrations. We do not accept “sponsored walkthroughs” where the vendor controls the data shown.
  • Sourcing Agent Audits: When reviewing sourcing services, we do not accept “VIP treatment.” Our auditors interact with services anonymously to ensure the experience mirrors that of a standard e-commerce merchant.

3. Dogmatic Independence from Carriers & Agencies While we maintain relationships with major carriers (e.g., UPS, DHL, Maersk), our editorial stance remains objective.

  • No Pay-for-Protection: We do not suppress negative reports regarding port congestion, carrier delays, or warehouse mismanagement in exchange for advertising revenue.
  • Tariff & Trade Policy: Our analysis of international trade wars or tariff hikes is strictly data-driven. We do not lobby for specific political trade outcomes; we simply report on how merchants can mitigate the resulting costs.

4. Ethical Sourcing Mandate We refuse to promote or provide logistics advice to entities known for violating International Labour Organization (ILO) standards or those involved in the transport of counterfeit goods. Our editorial team reserves the right to terminate any partnership with a service provider that fails a basic “Supply Chain Transparency” audit.
